The Sandhills Regional Education Consortium (SREC) is a collaboration of thirteen K-12 public school districts in southeastern North Carolina.
The mission of the SREC is to promote and support educational
excellence in the member districts with opportunities for collaboration and professional growth and
through facilitated communications between the districts and state agencies, elected officials, and educational leaders.
The vision of the SREC is to support public schools and cultivate the highest quality education through
partnerships across the Sandhills region.
